Our commitment
Food safety is non-negotiable. Every partner is vetted, every order is sealed, and every delivery is verified. These standards are enforced through onboarding checks, in-app verification and continuous monitoring. Vendors or riders who fall short are suspended until they're back in compliance.
Vendor food handling
Licensed & certified
Vendors must hold a valid Ghana FDA registration or local health authority food safety certificate before going live. We verify documents during onboarding.
Kitchen hygiene
Food is prepared in clean, sanitised kitchens. Vendors follow handwashing, surface-sanitisation and cross-contamination controls between raw and ready-to-eat items.
Temperature control
Hot food is kept above 60°C and chilled items below 5°C until handoff. Prepped meals are sealed and dispatched promptly to stay within safe limits.
Sealed packaging
Every order is packed in tamper-evident, food-grade containers. Allergens are labelled and special instructions are respected.
Rider delivery safety
Insulated delivery bags
Riders use clean, insulated thermal bags to keep food hot and protected during transit. Bags are cleaned regularly.
Hygiene on the move
Riders sanitise hands before pickup, avoid stacking unsealed items, and never open food packaging en route.
Safe & timely handoff
The 4-digit handoff code confirms the right order reaches the right customer. After three failed code attempts, photo verification is used and reviewed by our team.
Reporting issues
Vendors and riders can flag food safety or delivery incidents from their dashboards. Our team reviews and acts on every report.
Report a safety concern
If something isn't right with your order, tell us. We investigate every report and act fast to protect customers and partners.
